06/11/09: We have half a staircase. When my fiancé arrived this afternoon the tradie was there building it, how exciting. One thing we will have to check with the site supervisor about is the access panel. The tradie doing the staircase has cut out the access panel underneath the main entry feature recess, not cool. It clearly states in our contract that it is to be in the back of the linen cupboard where it can't be seen.
This week has been a week full of dramas. Last night my fiancé remembered that the windows in our meals room had been installed incorrectly. The windows were meant to open towards the corner, not away like they have been installed. I rang the site supervisor about this today, he told me that this was not a problem and it would be easily sorted out. Another crises averted.
